2015 Statement of Interest

The 2015 SOI: Pentucket’s Next Step Toward Our Future

The 2015 Statement of Interest (SOI) for PRHS is the culmination of our work for the past two and a half years!

The voice of students, parents, educators, and the community provided a clear direction:  1)  a powerful curriculum; 2) small class sizes; 3) new athletic facilities; and, 4) a contemporary high school facility.  We have accomplished a lot in two years!

[√] - Powerful Curriculum

Our Innovation School initiative is leading to Pentucket establishing a leadership position in Massachusetts.  We are implementing an advanced curriculum at each elementary school, early-high school credit for middle school students, early-college / career opportunities for high school students with extended day and extended year learning.

[√] - Small Class Sizes

Our elementary schools are projected to have 95% of classes with 23 or fewer students with 50% of classes with 20 or fewer students.  Middle School classes are projected at 21 students in core classes.  High school students enjoy the benefits of low student-to-teacher ratios that support highly personalized learning.

[√] - New Athletic Facilities

Our new athletic complex includes:

  • New tennis courts and practice court
  • New field hockey field
  • New practice field
  • New softball field
  • New 8-lane track and grass infield

[  ] - Contemporary HS Facility

The 2015 Statement of Interest for Pentucket Regional High School is the next step in our World Class journey.  We remain optimistic about a potential partnership with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) and look forward to hearing from the MSBA by winter.
