INTRODUCTION TO BASKETBALL CLINIC                                 GIRLS & BOYS in Grades 2 - 4

Progressive Basketball Academy under the guidance of Pentucket Girls Head Coach John McNamara will host an “Introduction to Basketball” Clinic at the Pentucket High School gym the week of June 26th. This clinic is for geared for girls and boys in grades 2, 3, and 4 as of the fall of 2017 who want to learn how to play basketball in a fun filled atmosphere.  Trophies and awards are handed out daily. No previous basketball experience is necessary.  The clinic is all about having fun and learning some basketball.  Space is limited based on age group.

5th Annual GIRLS BASKETBALL SUMMER CLINIC                                GIRLS ONLY in Grades 4-9

The Progressive Basketball Academy Summer Clinic with Pentucket Girls Head Coach John McNamara will be held at the Pentucket High School gym the week of July 10th.  This clinic is for girls in grades 4 through 9 as of the fall of 2017. A Camper of the Day trophy and weekly honors are awarded. The Progressive Basketball Academy (PBA) is a program that focuses on the FUNdamentals of basketball.  No previous basketball experience is necessary.  This camp sold out last year.

Spring 2017 Middle School Track and Field

Final Week to Sign up!!!!!   “Middle School Track and Field” with Andy Alsup, USATF Level 1 Certified Coach will introduce athletes to all the events track and field has to offer: sprinting, jumping, hurling, throwing and distance running.  Our instruction will focus on proper form and technique.  We will work to improve speed, strength and endurance.  Our goal is to assist in the development of life long runners and athletes. Dates:  April 3, 2017 – May 26, 2017 Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 2:30 pm– 4:00 pm Location:  Middle School Track  - Registration deadline will be March 31, 2017 or until full enrollment has been reached.  Student Fee:  $75.00  registration/fee required at time of registration.

Summer 2017 Boys Basketball Academy

 “2017 Summer “Boys Basketball Academy- Grades 4-8.with Ed Hickey, Pentucket Boys Varsity Basketball Coach .  The Basketball Academy staff is dedicated to working with each basketball player to help him develop his fundamental skills.  The academy involves a combination of individual instruction and team competition that provide young athletes opportunity to develop fundamental skills.  Every basketball player will be grouped by one‘s age for instruction and for game competition.  Learning how to execute fundamental skills is the key to individual improvement.  Team concepts will be covered as well.  Various offense and defensive systems will be introduced and every basketball player will learn how to defend or attack different styles of play. Additionally, participants will be assigned to teams for game competition – a great opportunity to put newly learned skills into practice.  Dates:  July 31, 2017 – August 4, 2017  9:00am – 3:00pm PRHS Gym Fee:  $180.00.   Registration is NOW OPEN!

HOFFMAN AUTO SCHOOL-DRIVER  EDUCATION”  - Hoffman Auto School with Steve HoffmanDo you have a high school student who is eager to get their driver’s license?   Steve Hoffman, Hoffman Auto School will be conducting classes through Community Education.  Classes will be held at Pentucket Regional High School and the schedule is listed below.  For further information please contact Steve Hoffman – Hoffman Auto School call  978-273-2880  or email hoffmanautoschool@comcast.net.
